Participants will view live demos of delicious and nutritious dishes and learn to make one dish while following along. Menu: <ul> <li> Korean Kimbap (learn to make)</li> <li> Thai Curry</li> <li> Vegan Patty</li> <li> Korean Salad</li> </ul> After making your kimbap and watching live demos of the other dishes, participants will enjoy a wonderful meal featuring all of the menu items as well as a side of steamed rice. Participants will also receive printed recipes to try at home. Faith communities often play a key role in recognizing warning signs and offering guidance. By fostering open conversations about mental health, faith communities can create a compassionate environment where individuals feel safe to seek help. Soul Shop is a training specific for faith communities to help start the conversation about suicidal desperation, respond with support and help facilitate connections to maintain safety. This training is seven hours and registration costs include a participant manual and supplementary materials with community resources. Lunch will be provided. The training will not equip you to be a mental health specialist.
